Manhattan native Bobbito grew up playing under the tutelage of street legend Earl "The Goat" Manigault. He played at Lower Merion (Pa.) HS (the same program that produced Kobe Bryant), then professionally in Puerto Rico and Denmark, then in playground tournaments such as the E.B.C., West 4th, H.I.T.S. (Orchard Beach), and Nike Pro City Games. His passion for the playground game caught the attention of Nike, and he appeared in the award winning Nike "Freestyle" commercial. He currently can be seen on the "NBA on TNT" spot. As a basketball performer, he's done shows for Nike at the Puerto Rican Day Parade and in Taiwan, and currently is doing NBA halftime shows with the Project Playground Basketball. 'EA Sports' NBA Street 2 video game features Bobbito as the game announcer and a player. Bobbito has given dribbling clinics for 20+ years to young players desiring to improve their handle and older players desiring to expand theirs. Bobbito's Basics To Boogie: Dribbling focuses on the fundamentals and the freak moves of the playground. In the "On Court Dribbling" section, you can learn legal moves like the stiff leg that you won't hear a ref's whistle blow for. In the Off Court Dribbling section, you can learn original techniques like the foot tap drill that will improve your ball control, confidence and coordination.
