Soul:ID is comprised of producer Urban Deep and gifted vocalists/ songwriters T'Chai, V, and Dad'd. They've traveled different paths - encountering the dark side of immigration and the constant day-to-day struggle to survive - but all shared a common love for all things soul which was stronger than any of the hardships they've endured. In the time they've been together as a group, Soul:ID has worked with many notable international acts such touring with world-rhythm pioneers Zap Mama throughout Europe and individually working with artists like Craig David (U K), Robert Palmer and Youssou N'Dour (Senegal) to name a few. Their album has been an intense labor of love at both the artistic and technical level often referring to it as "an intimate and intensive period," which deepened their personal and artistic inter-connectedness. The movement has arrived. "Afropean Soul" is here thanks to multicultural group Soul:ID who is introducing their signature sound to North America with the release of their debut album, Sex, Love & Philosophy.
