JRF is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer with an active history in a variety of creative pursuits.  Born from the passion of do-it-yourself youth culture, he began designing and producing his own stickers, t-shirts, stencils, and 'zines as early as 1985.  His creative inspirations are always diverse and take cues  from a variety of references, including punk rock & postmodern art.

JRF's graphics for the Holiday 2011 Artist Series are a blend of his formal interests in collage, typography and screenprinting combined with his conceptual interests in consumer culture, mass media and current events.  HIs work typically realizes these interests with a deconstructed balance of both analog and digital techniques.

JRF lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
