In May 1931 Albert Einstein was invited by Oxford University to give a three-part lecture series on relativity. A blackboard was preserved from the second lecture. Captured here are several of those equations. Einstein’s blackboard deals with some of the most fundamental questions in cosmology and serves as a testament to his irresistible desire to understand the secrets of nature.
