Acrylick chose one of the most memorable lyrics in The Pharcyde’s “Passing Me By” as inspiration for this design. The imagery created in the verse, revolved around a childhood crush. Many people are able to relate to the song having been through a similar situation. If not, the song was still able to put the listener in a place were they had no choice other than to understand. “Now in my younger days I used to sport a shag. When I went to school I carried lunch in a bag, with an apple for my teacher ’cause I knew I’d get a kiss….”
